Action for wrongful death in the district court for Beltrami county by the representative of the estate of Robert U. Gordon, who was fatally injured when the car of defendant Peter Pappas, Sr., driven by the defendant Peter Pappas, Jr., in which plaintiff was riding, collided with a truck parked on the highway. The case was tried before J. J. Hadler, Judge, and a jury, and a verdict of $8,500 returned for plaintiff. From the judgment entered pursuant to the verdict after denial of their alternative motion for judgment or a new trial, defendants appealed.
